Code Of Conduct
Our Commitment to You
Gentle Path Driving School is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional learning environment for every student. We uphold the standards set by DTA SA — the Driver Trainers Association of South Australia.
Instructor Standards
All lessons are delivered with patience, respect, and without harassment or discrimination of any kind.
The instructor will never raise their voice, use abusive language, or create an intimidating environment.
The instructor maintains current National Police Certificate and DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) and will provide clearances copies to parents on request.
Lessons are conducted in a fully insured, roadworthy, dual-controlled vehicle.
Student Expectations
Students are expected to treat their instructor with respect at all times.
Students must hold a current SA learner's permit (or provisional licence where applicable).
Students must not be impaired by alcohol, drugs, or medication that affects driving ability.
Students are expected to be punctual and to notify the instructor as early as possible of any changes.
Students must wear appropriate footwear: this means no thongs, bare feet, shoes without heel support, shoes with high heels, or clogs with soles thicker than 3 cm.
Safeguarding
Gentle Path Driving School takes child safety seriously. All lessons are conducted in the dual-controlled vehicle only, with the dash camera and cabin camera active. Parents are welcome to contact the instructor at any time with concerns.
Complaints
Any concerns or complaints should be directed to the instructor in the first instance. If unresolved, complaints may be escalated to DTA SA.
